Sundays

Awana is a Bible-centered children’s ministry
providing weekly clubs and programs for preschool through sixth
grade. Our goal is to reach children and teenagers, and their
families, with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. The
acronym Awana comes from the first letters of Approved
Workmen Are
Not Ashamed, taken from 2 Timothy 2:14.
Our clubs meet each Sunday
night (except noted on the calendar) from 5:45 pm until 7:30 pm.

Each club night begins with our Opening Ceremony starting promptly
at 5:45pm. Clubbers are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early to
prepare for the start of club night. During opening ceremony clubbers will participate in
pledges, music, prayer and announcements. Awards will be given each
night for sections passed in the clubbers handbooks.
There is a place for everyone in the Awana Ministry, whether you are
a clubber, a leader, a parent or a pastor we can all have a part in
sharing the gospel with others. Awana specifically tailors age
appropriate material to encourage and equip each child to come to a
saving knowledge of Christ Jesus. The ministry then continues to
help train clubbers to serve Him. Individual clubs are determined by
the child’s age and grade level in school. We invite you to come and
see what Awana is all about!

Children In Action (C.I.A.)
What is C.I.A.?
Children in Action is a comprehensive missions education
organization, for boys and girls grades 1st -5th. C.I.A.
includes praying for missions, engaging in missions action and
witness, and learning about missions. We focus on developing
spirituality toward a missions lifestyle, participating in the work
of the church, and supporting missions.
Through participation in Children In Action, children grow in their
knowledge, understanding, and application of the Bible. They also
learn from the example of missionaries, believers, and hands-on
mission action and what it means to actively engage in ministering
to others with the compassion of Christ.
Children in Action Pledge:
As a member of Children in Action, I will pray for missions, give to
missions, learn about missions, and do missions through the power of
Christ.
Children in Action Motto:
Send Me!
Children in Action Scripture Verse:
“I can do all things through Christ which
strengtheneth me.” (Philippians 4:13)
