Steve, is the nephew of the late, great Jake Hess. Jake Hess was a legend in gospel music and a hero of the faith. He has served churches since 1953, mostly in southern states. Fourteen and one-half years, however, were served in New Jersey, and included two terms as President of the Pennsylvania-South Jersey State Baptist Convention. He is married to Connie Brown, of Louisiana. Clyde and Connie have seven children and sixteen grandchildren! He will gladly tell you about them, if you have time!
